The Architecture of Passion

This is the Mosque at Cordoba. Consider the delicate patterns carved into the stone, the perfect positioning of the supports, the sheer amount of gold sacrificed. How much intensity it much have taken to craft such a masterpiece! Now imagine this masterpiece is the product of your mind. It is your masterpiece. Somehow you managed to scrap together something wonderful against the deluge of chaos. It is your triumphant answer. But how did you complete such a Herculean task or even why did you complete it? Was it a sense of duty to someone or something, or were you forced to complete the task with seemingly few other options?
To me, the Mosque is a monument to passion. Now to find mine.
